The construction photograph above is a 360 degree panoramic view taken from the penthouse roof of a new development in Bristol for a brochure and marketing publicity. As you can see the construction work is far from complete and I suggested an evening shot so that the brochure could be on the panoramic veiw from these penthouses that the prospective purchasers will enjoy. This would alleviate the distraction of the construction work in the shot.
However this did require the site to remain open until about 10.00pm to achieve this shot in the middle of the summer. Actually you can see a couple of site operatives in the shot on the scaffold chatting, but also rather concerned about me setting up all the gear on the apex of this barrel roof to achieve this shot.
The image below shows the resulting panoramic construction photograph as a double page spread printed in the marketing and sales brochure. Close inspection will show the finished barrel roof added in to the shot using CGI and all the scaffold removed.
